Tema is close to Accra, which is where I flew into the night of the 9th. It is too dangerous to travel all the way up to Alicia's site at night.

Alicia made a delish sweet/sour curry dish served over rice the next night. It took just over 4 hours to reach her site in Nkwatia via two Tro-Tros and a taxi. Tro-Tro = 15 person minibus.

Here's the goat. About 10 people dug into this - you grab a piece of the starchy stuff with your fingers and dip it into the soup - maybe grab a piece of goat with it (goat was killed by the family earlier that morning - all of the parts are in there!). Everyone washed their hands only because I was there. Everyone eats with their right hand only.
